Whangarei based charity, I Have a Dream approached us to share their story. Established in New Zealand in 2003, they have been working with young people in the Tikipunga and Otangarei communities since 2016. Although locals may have seen their ‘Dream House’ in Tikipunga, little was known about their kaupapa and the role they play in the lives of children and whānau. To drive donations and allow them to continue their work they needed to increase brand awareness and understanding of their work.
With a limited advertising budget, I Have a Dream carefully considers how it spends its money, and became one of the local organisations bigfish supports through community discounts allowing them to maximise their budget.
Creating a series of compelling and uplifting videos for their digital media campaigns to tell their incredible stories and showcase the amazing talent in their Dreamers and Navigators was the best way of telling their story.
Using video allowed them to tell their stories in their own words, capturing the essence of I Have a Dream and sharing their kaupapa to engage with whānau and supporters.
What we did
