The product first launched in 2019, as a B2C-focussed brand – think visuals of happy new homeowners and an edgy colour palette; however, it quickly became apparent that the core target market should be the B2B audience – in particular, those that own the building sales process – group housing companies and builders merchants such as ITM and Bunnings.
To tackle this market utecture approached bigfish to develop a new B2B focussed brand, website and sales tools.
We redeveloped the brand to appeal primarily to the B2B audience, introduced a new brand position and brand promise as well as recommending a simple and consistent set of sales & communications tools designed for customer acquisition.
The new utecture brand bridges the gap between tech and construction. Its brand needed to reflect both the solid strength of construction and look at home in a digital app based environment.
The adoption of utecture has the power to revolutionise the construction market by reducing the time it takes to design and price new builds from months to minutes as well as the ability to reduce waste by more accurately quantifying the products needed.
The new brand has been applied across the utecture website, in animation and video sales tools allowing them to target B2B customers here and in the US with a number of group builders and trade merchants now on board and using the platform.
